When bones break, our Physiotherapists in Blacktown can help organise any scans, explain your fracture to you, then guide you on the best way to stabilise the area to allow proper healing. For any complex fractures, we can also refer you to the right specialist.

What is the NDIS and am I eligible to apply?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is government supported program designed to support people with permanent and significant disabilities. It provides funding directly to eligible people to help them achieve their goals related to independence, community involvement, education, employment, and overall health and wellbeing.

Am I eligible for the NDIS?

To access the NDIS and funding, you must have a permanent and significant disability that affects your ability to participate in everyday activities. You must also be under 65 years of age when your first apply and  access the scheme and be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen holding a Protected Special Category Visa. How do I make an appointment for an NDIS session?

To make an appointment to see us under the NDIS, please call us on 02 8662 0496, and make an appointment with one of our Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists. You can also Book Online through our online booking system. We also use HotDoc and HealthEngine if you are signed up to them too. How much does an NDIS session cost?

We use the standard pricing for Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology services, which are set by the NDIA and periodically updated. This can be found on the official NDIS website section on provider pricing. For 2024-2025, Physiotherapy sessions are set at $193.99, and Exercise Physiology sessions are set at $166.99.

I am plan-managed under the NDIS, can I see you?

Yes! If your funding is managed by a specific Plan Manager, you can access our services directly. It's best to reach out to your case manager, and inform them you would like to start coming to see us, and they can provide us with the paperwork to setup an account with them so we can bill them directly.

I am self-managed under the NDIS, can I see you?

Yes! You can book in directly with one of our Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists where our normal Consultation Fees apply. It's always good to make sure you have adequate funding beforehand.

I am managed through the NDIA, can I see you?

Unfortunately not. We are currently not able to provide services to people under the NDIS who have their funding managed directly with the NDIA.

What happens if I have used up all my NDIS funding?

If you have used up all your NDIS funding, we recommend speaking to your GP to see if you can access any services through Medicare to see us. Alternatively, you can choose to see us as a private patient where our normal Consultation Fees apply.

How do I get funding through the NDIS?

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for NDIS funding directly through the NDIS website or by calling them on 1800 800 110. The National Contact Centre is open Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm.
